Having known Bernice all my life I knew her as a compassionate caregiver. In later years she so appreciated those who took care of her and all who remembered her in any way. A fine lady is now at peace.

My deepest sympathies to Bernice's family. I was a first cousin; we did everything together as "kids" and remained in close touch throughout our lives. Although I'm now in a nursing home, we could still exchange telephone calls. She will be deeply missed.
